About
The Charlotte Icehawks were founded to solve a simple but serious problem: talented and passionate hockey players in the Carolinas had limited access to affordable, organized, and development-focused hockey—especially at the scholastic and youth levels.
The Icehawks were created to give players a place to grow, compete, and belong without the excessive costs and politics that often push families out of the sport. Our focus is not just on wins and losses, but on building a sustainable hockey program rooted in development, accountability, and respect.
We are a community-based, independent hockey organization serving players and families who value structure, discipline, and a positive team culture.

Our mission is to make hockey accessible, affordable, and meaningful for players and families in the Charlotte area and beyond.
