The Charlotte Icehawks compete in the North Carolina and South Carolina Scholastic Hockey Associations, providing structured, competitive high-school hockey across the Carolinas.

The mission of the North Carolina Scholastic Hockey Association is to organize and operate a competitive, development-focused scholastic hockey league that upholds high standards of play, sportsmanship, and integrity. NCSHA is committed to providing student-athletes with structured competition, qualified coaching and officiating, and a positive environment that supports academic responsibility, personal growth, and advancement within the sport.

The North Carolina Scholastic Hockey Association envisions a unified, sustainable, and highly respected scholastic hockey league that provides student-athletes across North Carolina with the opportunity to compete at a high level while prioritizing education, character, and long-term development.
