CHARLOTTE ICEHAWKS MISSION STATEMENT
The Charlotte IceHawks Hockey Organization provides structured hockey programming and player development opportunities for youth and scholastic-age athletes. Our programs span foundational skill development, recreational and competitive play, travel competition, and supplemental training opportunities including clinics and camps.We are committed to helping players reach their highest potential through age-appropriate instruction in a fun, safe, and competitive environment. Our coaching philosophy blends proven development models with modern techniques that reflect the speed, skill, and hockey IQ demanded by today’s game.We expect players, coaches, and families to uphold the IceHawks’ core values of hard work, teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. Through practices, games, tournaments, shared experiences, and lasting friendships, the Charlotte IceHawks strive to instill a lifelong love for the game of hockey and the character it builds.

SPORTSMAN SHIP We emphasize fair play, humility in victory, and grace in defeat. Players are expected to compete with integrity and foster respect for teammates, opponents, and officials.
INTEGRITY Honesty, accountability, and ethical behavior are foundational to our program, both on and off the ice.
TEAMWORK Success in hockey is built through collaboration. We teach players to work together toward shared goals and to value the role each individual plays within the team.
RESPECT Respect is non-negotiable. This includes respect for teammates, coaches, officials, opponents, fans, and all facilities, including locker rooms and rink property.
ENJOYMENT Hockey should be challenging and fun. We aim to create an environment where players enjoy the process of learning, competing, and improving.
LOYALTY We promote loyalty to teammates, coaches, and the values of the IceHawks organization and the broader hockey community.
WORK ETHIC effort and preparation are expectations, not options. Players are encouraged to bring a strong work ethic to every practice, game, and challenge.
